Who we are

Chronos Studio is a product-photography studio based in Brooklyn, New York, United States, that fuses human creative direction with AI to craft premium imagery for luxury brands. For the purposes of data-protection law — including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where it applies — Chronos Studio is the controller of the personal data described on this page.

You can reach us about anything privacy-related at contact@chronos.studio.

What we collect

This site has no user accounts, no comment threads, and no newsletter. The data we handle is limited to:

  • Correspondence. When you email us — directly or via the contact form — we receive your name, email address, company (if you include it), and the contents of your message. The form delivers your message to our inbox through Resend, our email-delivery provider; it is not stored anywhere else, and we use it only to reply to you.
  • Usage statistics. Google Analytics reports aggregate figures about how the site is used — with your consent where the law requires it (see Cookies & analytics).
  • Technical logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard server logs — IP address, browser user-agent, pages requested — to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.
  • Client-project data. If we work together, we handle the contact details and materials you share for the engagement. That relationship is governed primarily by our agreement with you.

Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from. It sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) for that purpose. We run no advertising pixels, no cross-site tracking, and no fingerprinting; the ad-related consent signals in Google's Consent Mode are permanently set to "denied" on this site.

  • In the EU, UK, and EEA, analytics loads only if you accept the consent card — declining loads nothing at all, and we remember your choice on this device.
  • Elsewhere, where opt-in consent is not required, analytics runs by default.
  • Changed your mind? Use the "Cookies" link in the footer to reopen the choice at any time.

Beyond analytics, the site sets no cookies — no logins, no ads, no third-party embeds following you around.

How we use your data

We use the data described above solely to:

  • reply to your enquiry and discuss your project;
  • prepare proposals, deliver engagements, and keep records of our work together;
  • meet legal, accounting, and security obligations.

Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are the steps needed to enter into or perform a contract with you (Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to messages and running the studio (Article 6(1)(f)). We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we never use client materials or correspondence to train AI models.

Sharing & processors

We do not sell or rent personal data — to anyone, ever. Data is shared only with the service providers required to operate the studio, acting on our behalf under their own data-processing commitments:

  • Vercel — website hosting and delivery;
  • Resend — delivering contact-form messages to our inbox;
  • Google Analytics — aggregate usage statistics (with consent where required — see Cookies & analytics);
  • our email provider — receiving and storing correspondence.

Beyond that, we would disclose data only if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Where your data lives

We are based in the United States, so your data is processed there. If you write to us from the European Union, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, transfers rely on the safeguards our providers have in place — such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Retention

We keep correspondence for as long as it stays relevant to the conversation or engagement it belongs to, and project records for as long as our contractual and legal obligations require. Ask us to delete an exchange and we will, unless a legal duty requires us to keep it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. EU and UK residents may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

California residents have equivalent rights under the CCPA/CPRA — including the right to know, delete, and correct. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law, so there is nothing to opt out of.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@chronos.studio — we respond to every request, usually within a few days.

Children

This site is a portfolio for a business audience and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes & contact

If our practices change, we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date above. Substantive changes will be flagged clearly — no silent rewrites.

For anything this page doesn't answer, write to contact@chronos.studio.
